I can bolt a new turbo in. How hard can it be?

uh, I like it but 2 things. I thought you wanted to track it, and 2, I thought you needed 4 seats minimum. That has 3 and a couple of sideways metal benches in back

True on both accounts. It has two seats up front and a 3-person bench, so it’s OK from a family perspective. I could fix it and sell it for double the price and then have enough for an entry Alpine.

I could also get this and track it

those usually had a 3 person bench up front, and enough room for 4 to sit on the metal bulkheads out back - usually, but not always. But yes, good plan. I knew someone who tracked a Dyane, so you can actually track anything

Sure, a new turbo isn’t bad. Clear out the oil lines while you’re at it too! The issue is if the turbo isn’t the only thing wrong with it...

The only concern is not that the turbo failed, but why it failed.
